        There are two lecturers in the workshop this time. The first lecturer mainly talked about grit and growth mindset. The participants did the self-assessment about grit. The lecturer explained that grit is passion and perseverance for long-term goals. To cultivate students to have grit, growth mindset is a critical element. The lecturer used comparison between fixed and growth mindset and the impact of various ways to praise students as examples to make participants understand the concept better.

        The second lecturer talked about international mindedness. The lecturer introduced the concept from definition, application, case sharing to the conclusion.   

In regard to definition, the lecturer presented seven signs of an internationally-minded students. Participants in different groups had to think about which characteristics were simple or difficult for them to teach in their own subjects and shared their thoughts during the workshop. For the case sharing, the lecturer introduced the project “walk for water” with participants, letting them know of a concrete example about cultivating international mindedness.
